Red Hat Linux 7

Red Hat Linux 7 provided enhanced security, new ease-of-use features, optimized software for higher-end Intel chips, and better 3D support. It included dozens of new enterprise-ready applications, and a free trial of Red Hat's new update service, Red Hat Network. Red Hat Linux 7 was pre-set for the release of the 2.4 kernel and came in three versions (Standard, Deluxe, and Professional) which included updates and varying levels of support.
