Red Hat Enterprise Linux Lifecycle Management
During this webinar, we will demonstrate the power and control that Red Hat System Management Solutions provides systems administrators, streamlining and simplifying the management of your Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. You will learn how to get more administrative work done in less ...More
The concept of system lifecycle management is easy. We take software, configuration and content from development and put it into production. We then make more changes to the software, configuration and content in development, and put that into production. We take issues and situations from production, and try to reproduce them in development. Concepts are easy.
The reality of system lifecycle management is hard. Our production systems may not have ended up being identical. Hardware might be different. Underlying software versions might be different. We can't exactly map back and forth between development and production. This situation is not fun.
The actual process to implement the concept can be even harder. It's one thing to know what software, configuration and content you might need to move around, but how to actually get that accomplished is another story all together. With such a large set of open source tools available for you to update systems, deploy configurations and back-up and restore content, just picking what tools to use can be a job in and of itself.
During this webinar we will demonstrate the power and control that Red Hat System Management Solutions provides systems administrators, streamlining and simplifying the management of your Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Sr. Product Marketing Manager Chris Wells of Red Hat will show you how you can get more administrative work done in less time, with the right tools.
