At Red Hat this month we’re getting through the last of the winter storms up North, saying goodbye to summer in the Southern Hemisphere, and preparing for a whole slew of spring events. From EclipseCon and Open Source Business Conference (OSBC) in North America, to QCon in Europe, The Cloud Computing Conference in Asia, and Oracle Open World in Latin America, Red Hat is touching every part of the globe in March. North America
Red Hat is a silver sponsor at SAP’s Administration and Infrastructure 2009 conference in Orlando, Fla. to be held March 24-27. The event is aimed at IT groups that manage, customize, deploy and support SAP® systems. Come see Red Hat in booth #220 displaying why Red Hat has the best SAP-SD results to date on 24-core x86 64-based servers.
JBoss will be at EclipseCon in Santa Clara, CA from March 23-26 as a gold sponsor.
Red Hat’s President and CEO, Jim Whitehurst, will deliver the keynote address at OSBC in San Francisco on March 24 from 4:30-6:00 p.m. In addition, Richard Fontana, open source licensing & patent counsel, will participate on the panel “Putting Open Source to Work…for the General Counsel” on March 25 from 10:40-11:30 a.m.
Michael Tiemann, vice president of Open Source Affairs, will be keynoting at the Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise Conference, which will be held March 26-27, 2009 in Philadelphia, PA. Michael’s keynote will take place at 8:45am on the 26th and is entitled “Exonovation – Leveraging Innovation from the Edge.”

EMEA
QCon in London on March 11-13, is the third annual enterprise software development conference for team leads, architects and project managers. We’ll be in booth #17 and Bryan Che, product manager for Red Hat Enterprise MRG, is hosing a session on next-generation AMQP messaging performance, architectures, and ecosystems with Red Hat Enterprise MRG.
The IDC SOA conference will be held March 12 in London. Come meet JBoss experts and learn more about how Red Hat can help your company with its Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategy.
The Info Security & Storage Expo will be held March 25 in Belgium. The expo is aimed at IT managers, consultants, and sys admins interested in IT security, storage, management and open source. Visit Red Hat at booth B005 in the Storage Expo area.
Red Hat will be hosting a joint conference with IBM, on March 25 in Copenhagen, entitled “Red Hat Enterprise Linux on IBM System z10”. Attend this all day event to learn about the winning combination of an IBM mainframe with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
