JUDCon 2012: Boston Agenda Announced; Cloud, Business Rules and Big Data Among Key Topics
April 10, 2012
by: Middleware Team
We're excited to announce the agenda for JUDCon 2012: Boston! As always, JUDCon 2012: Boston will feature in-depth, engaging technical discussions about the hottest topics currently impacting developers, and will serve as a great opportunity for developers to interact and learn about the latest goings-on within the JBoss community.
This year's conference “by developers, for developers” will take place the week of June 25th and be held in conjunction with Red Hat Summit and JBoss World at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Mass. The agenda for the two-day event features four tracks focusing on “Application Platforms and Development,” “Cloud and Other Cool Stuff,” “Rules, Workflow and SOA” and “Big Data and Persistence.” The conference will also include a “JBoss in the Real World” users panel; a “JBoss Asylum Podcast;” and the ever-popular “Lightning Talks and Hackfest.”
Another key part of JUDCon 2012: Boston will be Red Hat Developer Day, scheduled for Day Two of the conference. Red Hat Developer Day will connect you to Red Hat Enterprise Linux contributors, and provide sessions on Red Hat's products and projects for the cloud, mobile, NoSQL and storage spaces. There will be sessions on Red Hat’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) platform, OpenShift, as well as from partners Appcelerator, 10gen and more.
Finally, this year we'll also continue our tradition of recognizing great development work through the JBoss Community Recognition Awards. The Awards honor outstanding work from the JBoss community over the past year across five categories. Candidates are nominated by their JBoss community project leads and voted on by their peers from the entire JBoss community.
Registration for JUDCon 2012: Boston is now open.
