Red Hat Corporate Communications Team

We're proud to announce that Jackie Yeaney, Red Hat's executive vice president of Strategy and Marketing, has been recognized as one of the “CMOs of the Year” by the 4th Annual 2014 PR World Awards. Yeaney, who has been with Red Hat since 2011, was recognized for her customer-centric approach, creativity, and success in helping establish Red Hat as one of the most respected and well-known open source technology brands in the industry.

Yeaney and her team have been instrumental in establishing and elevating Red Hat's global visibility. Among other initiatives, Yeaney has been a driving force behind The Enterprisers Project, a community sponsored by Red Hat, working with Harvard Business Review and CIO, that focuses on the current and future needs of CIOs.

Yeaney is not the first Red Hat executive to be honored by the PR World Awards. Last year, Red Hat's Leigh Day was recognized by the organization as PR Executive of the Year.

The prestigious PR World Awards program is a Silicon Valley United States worldwide recognition program that honors the best in marketing and communications around the world. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges representing a broad spectrum of industry voices. Award submissions are received from organizations all over the world, including public and private companies, non- and for-profit organizations, and more.

Congratulations, Jackie, on this honor – and thank you for everything you've done to tell the Red Hat story.
