Red Hat Linux is gaining increasing momentum, resulting in increasing demand for our enterprise computing services. Bringing successful, experienced executives like Matthew into Red Hat is important to our future success and growth."
Said Szulik, "The uniqueness of the Red Hat situation is what attracted me. It is not often that you have the chance to change the entire computer industry for the better. I am extremely attracted to the challenge of building a world-class, sustainable organization in the RTP area."
Szulik will share the administrative load that Young has been carrying, giving Young more time to focus on key industry relationships, international growth and the issues of Red Hat's creative and strategic direction.
