“We are very pleased with our relationship with Red Hat and the progress we have made together over the last two years. Their enterprise linux, middleware and cloud product offerings have provided strong complementary leverage to our enterprise product portfolio and our partners derive great value from this collaboration. Asia Pacific is an exciting market for both organizations and we are committed to taking this collaboration to new heights in the coming years.”
Phillip Cronin, Managing Director APAC Regional Sales Organization, Intel Technology Asia Pte Ltd
“Red Hat has been one of Intel’s key partners for providing powerful, open and unified technology foundation especially on virtualization and cloud computing. We believe the strong collaboration in OpenStack will enable us to offer solutions meeting the enterprises’ expectations for availability, performance, and compatibility.”
Mike Sladin, director of Global SIs and Alliances, Asia Pacific and Japan, Symantec
“We are strengthening our collaboration with Red Hat to deliver joint offerings that can bring tremendous benefits and savings to our customers. As Linux becomes more pervasive in data centers, Symantec’s solutions bring maturity to the platform in the areas of high availability, IT disaster recovery, backup and recovery, as well as security. With Red Hat and Symantec, customers can enjoy significant cost savings while getting true enterprise level functionalities.”
Ross O'Brien, The Economist
“The research that the Economist Corporate Network has done on technology adoption in Asian enterprise supports the view that Asian business is not only ready for the cloud, but business leaders fundamentally 'get' the cloud as a tool for business transformation. The cloud is a business model rooted in innovation. While Asia's business adoption may now be concentrating on leveraging cloud infrastructure for operational efficiency gains today, but the rapid take-up, and proliferation of applications means that Asian business may soon realize the 'upside' of the Cloud as well.”
