Inside our culture

It's easy to see what makes Red Hat® different on the outside. But here are a few things you'll find that make us great on the inside.

Our philosophy

We won't compromise our values: courage, freedom, commitment, and accountability.

Defining corporate values isn't unique to Red Hat, but upholding them and maintaining balance between them just might be.

We also depend on the three ideals that represent our greatest strengths: truth, collaboration, and value. In each country, in each language, in each office, these things remain the same.

How do we do these things so well? Collaboration. Working with a worldwide community of developers means we can create better technology, faster.

We can deliver the best value in our solutions, services, and support. And that gets noticed. It's what sets us apart as a company—just ask our customers.

And truth is what unites us all. Open source principles are redefining how the world works, plays, communicates. Inevitably, when you do the right thing, truth happens.

Red Hat Chairman's Award

Unveiled at the Red Hat Summit in 2006, this annual award recognizes associates with contributions so strong, so superior, and worthy of merit and acknowledgment that they have been recognized by their peers to receive the award.

The Show

Red Hat is a global company. We're constantly changing. So how do we keep up with all the great things that Red Hat is doing?

Many associates get together in their offices to view the latest episode. We learn. We laugh. We appreciate the dedication to our people and our culture.

The Show is an important part of our culture. This mix of clips demonstrates that The Show is as diverse as those who help to create it.
