We promised the winner a free trip to and hotel accommodations at ALS, where he or she could enjoy a full conference pass and a public display of his or her winning desktop. We've found a winner. Miguel Louro, a member of LEAD (Linux Enthusiasts Association of Durban) presented us with the kind of sleek and futuristic desktop that we absolutely had to choose as the winner. Now this 20-year-old from South Africa is on his way to Atlanta to attend ALS and blow the attendees away with his desktop and his enthusiasm. "I`ve always wanted to go to the USA, now my dream comes true," says Miguel, as he prepares his travel arrangements to go to the States. How will he like the U.S.?
