ppmtolss16 problem

I found this solution to the ppmtolss16 problem with rh8, that is still in 
rh9 ...


The solution to the "Premature EOF" problem with ppmtolss16 (Under 
RedHat 8.0) is to "export LANG=C" before running ppmtolss16.  Thank you 
to: "Patrick J. LoPresti" <patl curl com> for that!

Can someone make sure that this is fixed in mkimages.i386 before rh10 is 
released ??
