Hi John,
Thanks for that link. I've read about progeny's efforts to maintain two
installers. Primarily the debian installer and also a RH based installer
which they have decided to choose the RH version as their primary one.
Anyway, I like the sentence "would illuminate the work before you". I
understand that it's not just a do this do that and the vast number of
problems that I'll encounter doing so. But in the long run it will be
something that I can add to the already huge arsenal of things that I have
done with linux so far. Main thing that I am concerned with is the amount
of information that I can get my hands on which is why I have asked for any
and all links and or references that people have.

Progeny (www.progeny.com) has ported Anaconda to Debian. I imagine a
comparison between equivalent levels would illuminate the work before you.
