I was able to generate the hdlist and the pkgorder by mounting the RPMS folder via NFS and running:
On the PXE server:/usr/lib/anaconda-runtime/genhdlist --hdlist /var/os/redhat/linux/rhel-5-es/en/os/i386-stock/RedHat/base/hdlist --productpath RedHat /var/os/redhat/linux/rhel-5-es/en/os/i386-stock/
and ran some others commands to create the metadata file, etc... but I am having the following problem:
Unable to read package metadata: This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Please ensure that your install tree has been correctly generated. Cannot open/read repomd.ex file for repository. anaconda-base-200702081624.i386.
I am not sure where is the image is trying to get the metadata from. Do you know exactly where should I put the metadata folder?
is this even possible to do ? I am hoping I can get by with this. Any Ideas?
