That seems quite excessive to me. How many packages do you install?

My basic xen-vm-installs (on a PIII-500, 96MB RAM, 128MB Swap, text
mode) take roughly half an hour for RHEL5. That's for 500-600 MB of packages.

This is fedora rawhide. Previous versions work fine. I'm installing around 1000 packages.
