I'm all for making things more simple.  Labels are a constant
frustration of users, especially when they migrate a drive from one
system to another.  Lets just do away with them and call it good.

I thought that when they were first used (RHL 7.2 or 7.3 I think), and I was using dd to copy drives, then rebooting and having the wrong one mount.

Has my vote.
