Lack of uniqueness. There's a not insignificant number of requests to
actually default to a VG name that takes into account the hostname of
the system to avoid problems when moving disks between machines
(duplicate VG names make the lvm tools very unhappy; sadly) as well as
problems when using raw partitions or LVs to hold a volume group for a
virtual machine
