RH 5.2/5.3 installer complaining about read-only devices on the system during install

Hello,

I have read-only device (usb key) on my system and when I try to install
RH 5.2, I keep getting pop up dialog something like "Unable to open
/dev/sdb read-write (Read-only file system). /dev/sdb has been opened
read-only" few times (atleast 4-6 times). /dev/sdb is my read-only usb
key. Is this a known issue? I don't see this in RH 4.x. Will this be
fixed in future release?
