Just ignoring the drives seems kind of lame to me, but:

(1) I can't think of a reason why you'd need tape devices during
installation, and

(2) This code doesn't exist in Rawhide and so won't be needed in the
future

I am okay with you committing this.  Thanks for mentioning the branch in
your subjects.
