Hi all,
If I boot from my CentOS 5.4 rescue CD while my USB DAT drive is
connected and powered on, Anaconda creates /dev/nst0 and loads the st
module perfectly.
If I connect the DAT drive after booting, I can manually mknod
/dev/nst0, but I can't load st. Modprobe(8) says it can't parse
modules.dep, insmod(8) says it can't find st.ko, and find(1) can't find
anything useful beginning with st.
Apart from rebooting, is there a way to load the SCSI tape module?
Moray.
