I changed the tooltip to:

"If enabled the multipath devices are named following the 
/dev/mapper/mpath<letter> format instead of 
/dev/mapper/<wwid>. Note that the user friendly names are assigned 
by multipath tools and are not guaranteed to be the same between installs."
