Resolving EDD mapping problems

This follows our discussion with the KVM team that complained Anaconda
does not do a good enough job of mapping edd numbers to drives. Since we
shouldn't expect a fix on the kernel side and there's been a lot of
pressure to fix it, here are the patches to get rid of this.
