I am trying to compile a new kernel, enabling masquerading and a few
other goodies but I can't seem to get past a point.
It builds fine for a while but then stops with the following error;
make[1]: Entering directory `/work/axp-2.0.34/arch/alpha/kernel'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `kgdb.o', needed by `kernel.o'. Stop
make[1]: Leaving directory `/work/axp-2.0.34/arch/alpha/kernel'
What I did was grabbed Jay's complete patched tree (or at least I thought
that's that alpha-sources-2.0.34.tar.gz is) installed it in a directory
called "work", ran make config, make dep, make boot( no modules).
I have a .config file that I can email if some kind soul want's to see
it..
"O" Where have I gone wrong???
BTW running 5.1 fully patched with stock XLT kernel 2.0.30.
Thanks.......
