Hi Dave
GPC 2.0 requires (according to the docs) 2.7.2.1 .. because it need some
of the .o files
so you need to compile gcc. Ver 2.8.1 did compile out of the box. but gpc
complained about unknown references :(. So after patching gcc-2.7.2.3 with
the patches in the SRPM (in the correct
sequence (there was no doc .. it was trial and error) 2.7.2.3 (RH.5.0
standard gcc) compiled fine.
And GPC also compiled fine.
And it is working fine know ;) i think i will submit this to our
FAQ-o-matic
