Hi!
First thanks to that people who helped me to install linux on my box... :)
The only problems i have now is about the following points..
- I have a Matrox Millenium II with 4 Mb (on a 64 bits slot :)), i only can get 256 colours, the X server drops a
"screens not found" when i try more than 256 colours...
- I tried to get the DEC DC21142 ethernet to work, i tried to put the "-DTULIP_PORT" (when i used tulip driver) and
"eth0:fdx autosense=TP" when i used the generic DEC driver... I think the reason could be on the messages the kernel
drops me on boot, the file dmesg show all thouse msg...
- I tried to compile kernels from 2.1.115-2.1.117 but it's always fails on the same point, the mm directory...
Well, on the other hand i compiled succesfully kde 1.0 on my system (using egcs 1.0.3a). I'm using RH5.1
Any idea?
Thanks,
Gerardo.
