The following two commands are equivalent:

if [ -f /proc/net/ip_fwchains ]; then
  ipchains -A forward -j MASQ -s 192.168.2.0/24 -d 0.0.0.0/0
else
  ipfwadm -F -i accept -S 192.168.2.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0 -m
fi
