I found the SRPM in the 5.2 archives. I used this to manually make an
alpha gcc-2.7.2.3.
The idea here is to try to compile the kernel with this to see if my machine
likes it any better. Nope. 2.1.130 w/ gcc-2.7.2.3 (rth patches) hangs tight
after running a short time.
So I'm still hosed wrt the recent 2.1 kernels. Shucks.
