Hi Chris,
I am using disk quotas on an AS200 (Mustang), and have had no
problems from 2.0.3x to 2.1.130. I have set mine up manually (without
messing with the linuxconf stuff), however. Personally, I'm not sure how
much of a fan I am of that tool; it seems to just change stuff to it's
hard-coded impression of what should be what. It also bugs me to see the
"Checking LILO" message in ther on an Alpha; minor nit really, but it
should have been "Checking bootloader".. Anyway, here is how I set up my
quotas:
-From /etc/fstab:
/dev/sda2 / ext2 defaults,usrquota=/quot/qu,grpquota=/quot/qg 1 1
/dev/sda4 /var ext2 defaults,usrquota=/quot/vqu,grpquota=/quot/vqg 1 2
% rpm -q quota
quota-1.55-9
%
Then I use edquota et al to edit the settings.
Good luck,
-bp
