Re: New kernel 2.1.130 problems?



most things in current 2.1 series will compile properly, there ar estill a
few drivers that do not compile properly, but there is no major trouble..
and even for 2.0.35, and .36 i have had no problems compiling with no
patches... .34 had problems.. but they have been fixed.. several notes for
2.1: make sure you comment out SMP in the makefile, the kernel is not very
happy with SMP enabled. (and much larger)  i also noticed that the 1542
driver isn't very stable (i needed it for a server.. second scsi channel)

other than that, most things should work just dandy :)
