I tried the old ipfwadm from 5.0 and the new fixed one. It still won't
work. Could it be that it is not configured in the kernel? I don't know
how to check. I tried to compile my
own using ( make mrproper, make xconfig,[chose the options] make dep, make
clean, make modules, make modules_install, make boot) but no matter what I
try it can't get it to boot from the new kernel. I'm using 2.0.35
If I try to run insmod I get:
[root@home ipv4]# insmod ip_masq_ftp.o
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol ip_masq_new
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol ip_masq_skb_replace
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol ip_masq_expire
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol unregister_ip_masq_app
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol ip_masq_set_expire
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol register_ip_masq_app
ip_masq_ftp.o: unresolved symbol ip_masq_out_get_2
[root@home ipv4]#
(again theres lots of room for new user error)
