something got fixed in 2.0.36??

I wonder if it is just me or what? Last night I upgraded to kernel 
2.0.36... and all of a sudden today, my alpha/miata is performing much 
better. With 2.0.35 disk access was just incredibly slow... on a UW SCSI 
Cheetah.... and now, it's not so slow anymore.... opening uncached files 
are no longer slow.... was there a fix for the aic7xxx drivers??

In case anyone else had problems with SCSI disk access, try 2.0.36 and 
let us know what happens...
