I have a dual PPro system running 200MHz.  It is pretty nice,
and contrary to what you hear, it makes a big difference.  Not in
absolute speed, but in the amount of things I can have going on
and still get smooth response, etc.

Anyway, I am hoping those PPro overdrive upgrades will get real cheap
by the time I need to upgrade my board.  They drop in the PPro slot,
and are over 300MHz and have 1-2MB caches.  I can't remember the
exactly details.

But I would not bother unless they were fairly cheap.
