auto dial with ipfw

Hi,

Running a DEC AS200 with RedHat 5.1.  I got it to connect manually PPP to my
ISP and the other PC's can route through it, but how do I get it to auto
dial when a PC on the net requests it?  The books I have so to set it up in
/sbin/request-route but I can't find anything like that.
