Can't say specifically for the AS series, but it worked fine on my
Multia (RHL 4.2, 2.0.3x). It's now installed on another machine, so I
can't check the any specifics wrt Alphas & ZIPs. But, I remember that
I didn't have to do anything special to get it to work. Just follow
the howto's, rebuild your kernel with the appropriate options, and it
should work.
