I just compiled the gtk+/nglayout version last night from CVS, only to have
it segfault.  (bad pointer somewhere...not alpha related)

I'll try and fix it (in my oh-so large amount of spare time...).  If I ever
do get a working version for alpha, I'll post a note about it here and make
it available for ftp.  At the moment though, it's not even running.
