APECS machine check: Help!

Hello all,

	Just had something rather frightening happen to me.  In the middle
of operation, my system locked with this:

APECS machine check:
  vector=0x670 la_ptr=0xfffffc0000006000
  pc=0x200001ed8b8 size=0x2e8 procoffset=0x110 sysoffset 0x1a0
  expected 0 DCSR 0xffffffff80280005 PEAR 0xffffffff80000000
  ... and a ton of numbers on down.

This comes straight out of arch/alpha/kernel/core_apecs.c; can anyone
explain what happened and whether or not I need to worry?

My hardware: Alpha avanti w/SRM console
My sofware: Linux-2.1.131 built for Avanti with SRM console and PCI setup
