Traditionally, you put your boot disk at id 0, and then the rest of your hard
disks, then your cds and tapes and scanners.  For instance, I have hard disks
at 0 and 1, a cd at 3, and a zip drive at 4.  I left 2 available in case I get
another hard disk.
