Hi again... I've posted this b4 and have seen it also mentioned once
before, but nothing helped. I can compile any kernel on my multia just
fine, but when i boot it i keep getting these ugly trap errors. They dont
seem to be hurting anything, but they are really annoying. The kernels
that came with it work fine, and i just installed RH5 on it to see if that
would fix it. (obviously, it didnt) Any kernel i get from someone else
(RedHat or the guy i bought it from) works great, mine suck. I can
recompile kernels on x86 computers without any problems, so i'm sure its
some alpha specific little switch hiding in the corner that i was never
informed that i gotta throw. HELP
spec:
multia 233mhz
56meg ram
512meg internal HD (RH 4.1)
2gig external HD (RH 5)
I've tried several kernel versions:
2.0.29/30/33
all with the axp patches from gatekeeper
Thx
