: I'm using kernel version 2.1.72.
I'm using 2.1.88, installed originally from an official alpha redhat 5.0
cd (question from a related mail). I'll check out the rpm list. I'd
like to try a more recent kernel, but was having X freezing problems
(under about 2.1.92+, no other system changes), which someone suggested
was due to X 3.3.1 and should be fixed in 3.3.2. Unfortunately I
haven't had time to upgrade yet. Hm, I've digressed. While I'm over
here, I might as well comment that I still haven't figured out all the
issues related to c++ not working either...
