THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED TO MY g77 QUERIE!!
I have downloaded the latest egcs (version 1.0.2), and installed it. I
use the Digital PC164 board, so I installed using
./configure alpha-dg-linux-gnu
Now, that all went without any error messages, but when I now try to
compile something it gives me error messages saying, eg,
g77: installation problem, cannot exec `f771': No such file or directory
Any idea what I did wrong? The routine I compile is very simple and works
perfectly on Fortran 77, compiled on other systems.
THANKS!!
Ingo
