The source is not for the game engine, but for the rules only (its the best
way I can think of describing it) With what they give you its possable to
change any aspect of the game (fireing rate, hitpoints, etc..) but that is
it. I shot an e-mail at ID a while ago asking if they were ever going to
come out with an alpha linux version but I never got a responce. I guess
if ya want to play q2 on yer alpha, NT is the only way (which I havent been
able to get working anyway) Hopefully someday they will come out with a
alpha linux native version, then i can bring my server back up :)
