The question is about do you have /lib/libc.so.6 library
in your system? (You do have /lib/libc.so.6.1, I presume.
Symlink from libc.so.6 to libc.so.6.1 works ok.)
If you don't, you get that rather mysterious looking error.
Second stage is need for /lib/ld.so.1 dynamic loader object.
