Install MILO on Alpha PC164

Could anybody help me to install MILO on an Alpha PC164?

After trieing to boot the system with the MILO-boot-disk I get always
the error message:
MSDOS: No such file
MILO: Failed to load the kernel
MILO>

The boot menue is configured as follows:

LOADIDENTIFIER=Linux
SYSTEMPARTITION=multi(0)disk(0)fdisk(0)
OSLOADER=multi(0)fdisk(0)\linload.exe
OSLOADPARTITION=multi(0)disk(0)fdisk(0)
OSLOADFILENAME=\milo
OSLOADOPTIONS=boot fd0:vmlinux.gz root=/dev/fd0 load_ramdisk=1
prompt_ramdisk=1

The disk is formatted in ext2,
the image file is pc164.
