Yes. I've done it several times. I do suggest that you try to get a
"real" hard disk asap - they are usually a bit faster and are inherently
more reliable - not that SyJets are bad, just not quite as good.

Same restrictions as a normal hard drive. I suggest having a FAT on the
first partition, if there is any chance that you'll attach to Windows NT -
it likes to format the first partition and nothing else.

Nothing special. You may want to carefully consider the SCSI ID, if you
think there is a chance that you will attach other drives. The
default firmware allows you to specify which drive by SCSI ID, but Milo
addresses by sda, sdb and so on based on whats connected. The lowest
ID hard disk gets assigned sda, the next HD ID sdb and so on. So add a
HD with a lower ID = letter reordering, so your special boot sequence
looks for the wrong drive. There may be a workaround - I haven't looked
yet. Check the MILO FAQ/HOWTO.

It works just fine if you leave it as the last drive in the chain. The
SyJet has an internal auto-terminator. I suppose you could add a real
terminator if it makes you sleep better, but I've found no problems. The
terminator doesn't interfere if it is in the middle of the chain.
