I guess the obvious question is - what programs?
It is certainly possible for a program to appear to compile OK and then fail
when you try to execute it. Are these programs that have worked for others
under RH 5.0 Alpha?
EGCS 1.0.2 is pretty good but not perfect. You sometimes have to disable the
optimization to get a working program. I hear that EGCS 1.0.3 will have several
alpha-specific bug-fixes in it.
