Hi Chris, I really appreciate your comments because I'm really needing a
faster machine (and this is not about hardware). As I tell in my message
I'm using RH Linux because DEC software is quite expensive. When you talk
about DEC libraries you mean DIGITAL UNIX? Or I can install them under
Linux and make a 30% difference? I suppouse that DEC UNIX may be at least
100% faster because its 64bit nature. What is exactly your configuration?
I know that I can get a better performance for my Alpha, I would very
appreciate any advise , thank you very much,
