Well, I d say you ll have to look at your dns configuration, maybe
you re trying to resolve addresses with a dns server you can t reach,
or what I d suspect even more is that you were using nis on the
ethernet, and you don t at home, so you may have to change your /etc/
nsswitch (or something like that), else it s certainly searching for
a nis server which it can t find... And if I remember well RH5.0 put
the nis first in the lookup order for most things.
