Many (probably most) motherboards require that all memory be the same
speed. I'm pretty sure the Multia is like that. Mixed speeds will
result in sporadic memory errors. Unix or Linux will show problems
pretty quickly in that situation, but on a more primitive operating
system the problem might not show up right away or just get lost in the
"normal" crashes that happen even with good memory.
