about 10 minutes ago, I had the exact same thought. I found what looks
to be an incredibly useful book, "Alpha Risc Architecture for
Programmers". You can find it on Amazon.com. don't bother looking
online, everything is for 16-bit assembly. I could also use some
pointers from anyone who knows of tutorials, etc. for assembly on
non-intel machines
