I have a Pentium 100 and I am trying to install Redhat 5.0. I bought a
new Seagate 4 Gbytes hard disk, but my setup doesn't support this in
windows 98. I have got the Seagate "Discwizard" program in order to
install the hard drive. This program copies a program in the boot
sectors that allow the compatibility. The problem I have is that when
installing LINUX, LILO is placed over the Seagate program, then when
Window 98 is booted, the 4 Gbytes hard disk is not recognized. If I
install the Seagate program, this overlaps LILO and LINUX can not be
booted.
I think that the solution is to boot LINUX from a floppy or from DOS,
but I don't know how to do that. Can anybody help me?
Thanks
