A good point, also be aware of the famous 12 Meg SIMMs that are in some
Multia/UDBs,
they provide 12 Meg in only certain of the Multia/UDB memory SIMMs slots
- in the
other slots, or in almost any other application, they appear as 8 Meg
SIMMs...
DEC (at one point in time anyway) felt that there was value in a 24 Meg
UDB that
could be expande with *one* more bank of SIMMs without removing/losing
any pre-
existing RAM...
