You have GOT to be kidding me.  I was under the impression that RedHat
monitored this list.  I don't want to be too hard on them because this
isn't their fault (see below), but... this issue has only been beaten to
death and beyond here.

Unless I'm mistaken, the problem is the same one from RedHat-5.1;
specifically, a bug in the glibc headers on 64-bit architectures.  Try the
ipfwadm from RedHat-5.0 or from ftp://ftp.terran.org and let us know what
happens.
